AmazonBasics has slowly but surely got their branded products to a great quality at a great price. This Mini DisplayPort to HDMI connector is no exception. The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI is a straight-forward connector that permits video and audio (depending on model - see below) through your HDMI cable to your HDMI enabled TV/Monitor. The connector consists or a male Mini DisplayPort on one end and a female HDMI on the other. Setup is simple - plug in the male mini DisplayPort into the Mac, connect the male HDMI from your TV/monitor into the other end and switch on your Mac. Depending on your monitor settings (Can be changed in Preferences), you will see an extension or mirroring of your desktop. I was able to get Full HD resolution on my TV. Quality is just as good as 3x more expensive connectors on the market. For the price a definite recommend!
