I got this to replace a baby food maker I had that broke. It was twice the price and lasted a few months. I am so happy I went with this cheaper option as it is actually much easier to use and does so much more. This requires fewer steps as no transfer is required from steaming and blending. Because of that there is also less clean up with no extra basket or lid needed. I had to use the blend button a few times to get it to my preferred consistency. I also had to make sure to use a mat under because it slides quite a bit when using the blender but otherwise, it really is value for money with all its different features. It really is an all in one that can be used from infant to toddler stage. It even comes with extra reusable pouches and a mixing spoon.
