This is very helpful. I know that the pediatrician said to measure the tempreture rectally but I don’t want to do that throughout the day especially after a vaccine shot (after which a little one can have a fever). I use this device to do a primary measurement and then if it’s a little bit high I use the rectal thermometer to confirm. After the last vaccine my little one was very fussy and I measure her tempreture 5 times, I couldn’t imagine doing that rectally on a fussy infant.
