I have a lovely and very curious cat who can't stand closed doors, so she scratches and cries until she can get in, just to get out again. So I purchased this cat door as a compromise. Although I was a little afraid of possibly ruining my door for nothing, but I love my cat too much. Well, even with my limited skills, I was able to do a decent job cutting the necessary hole with a jigsaw. It was easy to slide the little door in the space and fasten the frame in position with the 4 screws. Looks good and works! I wanted to wait with this review until I find out how long does it take for my cat to actually use it. She needed only one night! First time I lured her through by calling her and showing treats on the other side. I also propped the door flap ajar with a tissue paper to shoe her the possibility of passing through. She got it almost instantly! I would gladly recommend it to anybody! If I can do it, so can you!
