Instead of buying new Silhouette mats and Cricut mats constantly use clear contact paper ON your mats!
even BETTER than expected. Works great on Silhouette & Cricut MATS! To extend the life of a brand new mat cut 12 x 12 piece, stick the top side of the contact paper to the mat, the sticky side facing UP, Peel off the backing and use the contact sticky as your cutting surface. When that gets messed up, peel it off and replace the contact paper! Also works as transfer tape when you cut vinyl.
