I have had to remove the manifold from my 99 suburban several times so far. Most recently to replace the cam and lifters. The distributor is difficult to get to, if off more than 1 degree it throws a check engine light and since the timing is computer controlled you can't use a light to line it up. This replacement is keyed to drop in properly indexed. Much easier than trying to mark stock unit and hope you get it in spot on. If you need to remove the distributor for any reason this is 58 bucks well spent.
