This is a very nice paddle vest for the money. It is absolutely the first and only vest I have ever forgotten I was wearing. The armholes are so large, and the foam so minimal, there was no obstruction when paddling or getting in and out of the kayak. It's usually cool on the water, but I didn't find that it got uncomfortably warm wearing it. The mesh on the lower back - where my back rests against the seat - is perfect. I paddled with two friends whose vests rode up around their shoulders, due to the bulk on the bottom. This presents no such problem. I do wish I ordered the Small before they ran out, but the Medium fits fine (the sides cinch in) and I won't bother returning it (I'm 5'3" 125lbs). It was frustrating that there was no size chart nor guidance, and I just had to guess. Hope this helps someone else size it correctly.
