I purchased the Travelpro Maxlite 4 (21" 2wheeled roller) yesterday for a Mon-Fri Business trip because I was looking for a carry-on that hopefully won't get checked last min due to infuriating size restrictions. I was unable to find reviews that truly identified capacity, so here goes...this is what I packed in it as pictured, without opening the expandable zipper: 1 pair penny loafers (men's size 12) 1 pair sneakers (men's size 12) 4 pr underwear 4 pr socks 4 Tee shirts 4 Business shirts 4 pr Business pants 1 Blazer (size 46) 2 pr casual cotton long pants 2 golf shirts 1 pr jeans Bathroom necessities (tooth paste, tooth brush, cuff links, shoehorn, contact lense cleaner (4oz.), safety razor, shaving cream (2.75oz.), deodorant (1.7oz.) 7/31/17 Update...latest trip: 1pr loafers men's 13 1 leather belt 3 tee shirts 3 underware 4 pr socks 3 business shirts (17x34) 2 collared casual shirts 2pr linen pants 2 pr jeans 2 Blazers Bathroom necessities (tooth paste, tooth brush, cuff links, shoehorn, contact lense cleaner (4oz.), safety razor, shaving cream (2.75oz.), deodorant (1.7oz.) cinching the strap down over the blazer gives the illusion of it being full, but I could easily get another jacket or jeans & shirt in. Pics below showing each "layer" packed.... you can get a lot of stuff in if you are thoughtful how you pack
