I bought this security bar about a year ago because I’m a college student living off campus in not the best downtown area. My bedroom has a door that leads directly outside, which was really freaking me out and I knew I needed to take an extra precaution to ensure my safety. A couple of days ago, my house was broken into (no one was in the house as we are all home for the holidays). Although our house has a total of 4 doors that are entrances/exits, the choice of entry for these particular robbers was the door in my bedroom. Thanks to Securityman’s security bar, they were able to break the lock on my door but unable to enter! This experience (and the multiple times I have exited through a different exit and tried entering through my door, forgetting the security bar was in place) have solidified my confidence in this product, and so I thought I’d share my experience with you all. This product is great for people who are renting and need a product that will give them peace of mind but also work on the off chance that it’ll need to.
