Good option depending on your requirements
Finding the right size compression sack can be a bit challenging. Fortunately I was able to narrow my options down based on Amazon reviews and others. To give some perspective, the bag I have is a Marmot 0 degree Gamma Sleeping Bag with 700-fill goose down. I was looking for a lightweight sack with maximum compressibility.
I ordered a medium size ALPS and also a medium size Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Compression Sack (http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0018DNEVA).
The Sea to Summit bag was about a perfect fit with no room to spare. The sack is about 70% lighter then the ALPS, water resistant and compressed down smaller.
The ALPS sack is very well constructed, includes more frills like d-rings, carry handle and a small pocket (with questionable functionality). The sack is larger then the Sea to Summit and it may have been possible to get the Marmot bag into a size small.
Given the size and weight difference I went with the Sea to Summit sack.
