I am reviewing this product based on the delivery, brief usage and my experience thus far. I'm saying this up front - as I use it longer, my review may need to be updated, but, as of RIGHT NOW: I'm impressed by several things regarding this purchase. One, the ratings were higher on this than on the fancy schmancy name brand I previously owned that MELTED. So far, it is living up those ratings: First, the email I received with the tips BEFORE THE ITEM ARRIVED!!!!! Such as downloading the new user manual, checking the voltage, not holding the button down for more than a minute, not allowing children to use it nor to use the item in a nonstick pan (there's more, but I didn't want to share EVERYTHING!). The blender stick (engine component, if you will) is nice and heavy, indicating that it isn't all plastic. The pieces attach and detach easily (detaching requires pushing two buttons to unlock it from the item being used), so not removed so easily that it will just all off. The handblender and accessories store easily. The blender cup is a good size. The chopper attachment is BIG!!!! Bigger than I had hoped!!!!!!!! (No more worries about the base of my shrimp dip overflowing the small chopper I have been using. The handle clicks in place nicely on the attachments. Honestly, I'm really impressed right now! Looking forward to using this a BUNCH!!!!! My purpose in reviewing this and other items is only to provide my honest opinion based on my experience with the item.
