I bought this mat to protect the top of a buffet that I painted white and distressed and will continue to use as I host guests in my newly redecorated farmhouse style dining room. I was originally attracted to the subtle design on the mat and it’s “cushioning” properties. It is soft and pliable. It unrolled without a single wrinkle and will be easy to roll back and store. It looks so nice that I decided to order a second matching one for my dining room table. Prime deliveries are understandably “slow” now, but I don’t regret having to wait a few weeks because this vendor was so nice to deal with. The price is higher than an “ordinary” runner but this one has the exceptional cushioning and heat resistant properties.
