These scissors are perfect for me and my somewhat novice haircutting abilities. I previously owned a drugstore pair of haircutting scissors. They did okay but I knew there had to be something better. After reading reviews and considering price, I ordered this pair. I used them to cut my husbands hair yesterday and they worked perfectly. They are quite sharp! My grip felt very secure and comfortable. I'm not a liscensed professional but I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a nice pair of scissors to cut hair quickly and efficiently. Update: I know I said these scissors are quite sharp in my initial review but I wanted to reiterate just how sharp they actually are...mind you I’m not a professional...I was cutting my sons hair and I nicked the top of his ear! Gasp! I paused for a moment and froze thinking this was not going to end well. He didn’t even flinch. He had NO IDEA! That is of course until he saw the blood. In my defense, I told him to sit still. :)
