The texture and color of the lip gloss is as true as their description. Very smooth upon application. The color is as shown in the pictures along with a hint of shimmer. It is highly fragrant which doesn’t bother me. The fragrance smells a bit like vanilla. There was a small seal connected to the ingredient list at the back of the gloss. For me the package is a little bulky but I can live with it. Maybelline is the only line of lip products that I can use without having a break out therefore I’ll live with the bulky package. I’ll definitely buy another color soon. Update on additional lip gloss: I purchased another LipLifter shortly after and included pics to show the differences. The first gloss was Petal 005 which has some shimmer and is more pink, the second gloss is Reef 006 which does not have shimmer and has more of a beige shade and less pink. Both colors look great on my complexion(dark brown) which was a concern for me.
