Update - my daughter is now 4.5 and still uses this as her pillow for nap at daycare. Still in tiptop shape, still using the same pillowcase. Not bad for 3 years of use! We introduced this at 19 months. Prior to that our kid hadn't used a pillow. She LOVES this thing more than anything. Takes it downstairs with her every morning. Hugs it as she falls asleep. I feel sort of badly for not introducing it earlier! I felt a little silly paying this price for a pillow - seemed a bit overpriced - but the quality is great, it's soft, the pattern is adorable, and my daughter loves it!
