Wow! I bought this not expecting much more than a slight increase in volume over my iPhone speakers. It was frustrating to try and listen to the music on my iPhone while taking a shower because it often drowned out the meager output. I bought this speaker after a great deal of research, and based upon the reviews figured at the price point could purchase 2 with nothing to loose. I was absolutely blown away with the sound. It was so loud that I actually had to turn down the volume. Unbelievable is all that I can say. It is well worth the price and probably more. I like the carrying case which is compact and easy to transport, can toss it into my bag. I have a lot of music with heavy bass and this little speaker really pumps it out. I read a review that this speaker stand doesn't work with a iPhone case, but I was able to stand it both vertically and horizontally without problem. I initially thought that the stand also charges the phone, but upon using it discovered that doesn't charge the device but recharges the speaker. This is nothing to complain about and I highly recommend this speaker to anyone who wants to listen to the music on the iPhone without being restricted to headphones.
