We have a small dog who is elderly and has a torn ACL, the stairs of our new place are all tile (we are military overseas) the first day I placed these on, she could go up and down without slipping. I didn't want to use tape or glue and these stay perfectly in place. This is exactly what we needed and I'm happy I bought 4 sets! Edit after 6 months of use: I have washed these several times and hang to Air dry. They are still perfect. I usually just vacuum them with the hose, but seeing they have held up so well washing is a super positive thing!
