Sister talking here. Now, I'm gonna start by saying that this straightener does exactly what it says it does. Now let's get in the details. First of all, it came in a rectangular box with the gloves, manual and a one year warranty. Now I hesitated a long time before buying this dryer because I have textured hair : 4 type hair, normal to high porosity, normal to high density, collarbone length, tight s pattern, bleached and dyed a few couple times. I was very apprehensive and to be honest was expecting in the end for it to give me a very sleek blowout look since my hair is coarse and so kinky. Well, well well, to my pleasant surprise, it straightened my hair, bone straight! I was so impressed, I got my hair done the same night! Now the reason I'm not giving this product a 5 stars is because of the anti-scald design. They said that you could put it on your scalp and it wouldn't hurt, wrong. The V top is very hot, I used it on the highest setting, but the sides are warm which allowed my aunt to use it on my edges without me wincing. Overall this is a great product, I will probably never use a flat iron again. It was pretty easy to use, took us less than an hour with breaks to do my whole head and the results were amazing, I had movement, I had sleekness, I had volume, fantastic! I cannot say anything about the ends though because mine needed badly to be snipped so I assumed that's why they couldn't straighten properly all the way, looked so badly and would get caught up in the device. But I'll insert more pictures as soon as I can so all my black sisters out there can see for yourselves. If you're considering a straigtening comb and came here, frankly you won't be disappointed.
