She waters her flowers every day. Summers here are high 90's with a heat index at 104-110. Her old style hoses were rarely used due their weight and difficulty handling. It takes every bit of this 100 ft hose on both sides of her house to water all of her flowers. It is easy to maneuver and so light she can carry it in one hand. I selected this hose for the following reasons - 1. The internal hose has 4 layers of latex - much more durable than 2 or 3 layers 2. The outer hose covering is 3,750D - D is for denier, indicates the weight (and durability) of the fabric - the higher the better 3. Brass fittings and cutoff valve 4. 100 ft - I measured the hose before pressurizing with water - 34ft 11in, after filling the hose with water it was 102 ft 10in 5. The hose fills up and empties within seconds 6. 12 month warranty 7. Very good reviews on Amazon and excellent reviews outside of Amazon too
