Leather has a nice look and feel. I was skeptical about the magnetic closure but it works nicely. It holds the cover closed but is easily opened. The case holds the phone nicely. Designed to be stylish, if you want a case for a rough environment this is not it but for every day carry it is a beautiful case. People have complained about the thickness of the case around the finger print reader but I found that if you register your prints after the case is on your phone the case works as a guide for your finger and to me seems easier to register your finger print. My first case was a different brand but similar design but didn't have the magnetic closure or the kickstand and cost me more than double what I paid for this. I like this one better.
