I have used this nail polish, twice... and I can understand why people rate it high and why they rate it low. If you have freshly clean hands and very smooth nails then, yes, this nail polish will literally peel right off in a day or two. The first time I used it that was exactly what I did and I was so pissed. So, then I thought back to my days of professional manicures - and - it occurred to me that I rarely just walk in the salon with clean nails and have polish applied. There's quite a process. So, I googled "steps to a perfect manicure at home" and found that step 1 was remove polish, and step 2 was "BUFF NAILS" Well, when I tried that - and I buffed my nails first (the whole nail... not just the top.. all the way down the sides to the cuticle) this polish has stuck amazingly well. I am on day 10 with this application and it is going strong. I can't say that I have tried this with other discount brands of polish as a comparison - but - for this polish buffing nails before painting worked like a charm.
