Best multi-vitamin on the planet?
ORIGINAL REVIEW: After a lot of reading, this appears to be the best multi-vitamin/-mineral on the planet, bar none. Even a bit better than the similar products from Pure Encapsulations, DFH, Metagenics, and Xymogen. It contains the most bio-available forms of each vitamin and mineral. The wholesale cost of the best forms tends to be 2x to 5x more expensive than the typical forms. I have no health issues, but after starting this vitamin I did notice a slight increase in energy, mental clarity and focus, but some or all of that could be from the other potions I started at the same time -- magnesium, krill oil, and CoQ10. UPDATE at Dec 2018: I'm not sure if it was caused by this Thorne multivitamin, but while taking it, along with Mg, CoQ10, and krill oil, it started out positive but then I experienced a couple months of cognitive over-stimulation followed by several months of what "felt like" (guessing) some kind of trigger or boost of a detox pathway with negative cognitive side effects. I still hold Thorne the company in highest regard, and this Thorne multi certainly looks excellent on paper, but there may be something amiss with it or something not right for some people. Or, what I felt could be unrelated to it. Certainly not a controlled scientific experiment, but I can say that when I stopped it, and started a replacement product, I felt improvement within a half day, after months of continuous negative experience. Anyway, this lead me to resume search for the ideal multivitamin. I've been using Seeking Health's Optimal Multivitamin Powder as my daily multivitamin since Oct 2017. I've not yet found a perfect multi, and such a thing probably doesn't exist, but Seeking Health comes closest and on paper is even better than the Thorne. Certainly my felt experience is better. The ideal daily dose is 0.5 scoop (half what they recommend) supplemented with 0.9 teaspoon of Rosita cod liver oil and a few other items.
