Maaaaaan listen. This stuff is AMAZING. I’m a Black woman with what they’re categorizing now (I cant keep up with the changes) as “4c” hair. Mine should actually be “4z” cuz it’s thick, more coiled than curly, unruly, deliciously wild, hard to tame...and EXTREMELY prone to ingrown everything, everywhere. So I tried this based on all the positive reviews just before a beach trip a few years ago. AMAZING, but pricey. Tried TendSkin afterward. It is very good too, but in my opinion it stings WAY more & it doesn’t have the dark spot vanisher thing like pfb Vanish + Chromabright does. So I went back to this one and DAMN! So I use this under my arms, on my bikini line AND on my chin (cuz I’m taking some meds that make me grow hair there & UGH! Of course it grows in & then there are nasty dark spots & bumps ON MY FACE and blahblahblah it sucks.) Anyway, first it tingles - not quite a sting, but close. Feels a lil slimy. Then I exfoliate the next shower time. Reapply. It stings, but not unbearably AT ALL. Not like ‘set your cooch on fire’ stinging. And the rollerball really helps with product placement. All the crevices & bits are covered, if U knowhutImean. Then, after 3 or 4 days, the peeling begins. It’s alarming at first, cuz it’s a pretty significant peel, but underneath is smooth, non-discolored skin!!! It’s like an unboxing or a reveal! Now, I’m not saying these stubborn hairs have been forever completely banished, just 99% AND you have to keep using the product. It makes the skin that thickens when the hair doubles back thinner, so the few that still insist on circling in are MUCH easier to tweeze away - no more digging & bleeding & leaving scars & craters...I know I’m not the only one! And 99% better is...u know it...AMAZING! Wish I had before & after pics. And wish I had another word for amazing...cuz it is. LADIES - make this a staple in your summer body prep. DUDES - lay this under that chin & on the back of that head (yep, the kitchen) now & thank me later. Only downside is it’s PRICEY. Mine was damn near $30 for 93g AND you need to always have it to keep the ingrown-free results. Upside (other than IT WORKS) is that it’s healing years of thickened skin, scars & dark spots. So I hope this helps. They DID NOT pay me for my opinion, although I wish they would because I need to keep a bottle of this in my medicine cabinet at all times. Happy shaving! UPDATE - Yeah, forget that ‘set your cooch on fire’ remark. I just shaved & applied it & it did exactly that...but it’s still a minuscule price to pay for the AMAZING results. All facts!!
