I had an issue with my vehicle and I was tired of checking with the local automotive store for the code and clearing it when I was running some tests. Got the Actron and saved a lot of time driving back and forth, waiting for help at the store, etc. Now I can check whenever I want, at home, at the gas station, help a friend or family member out. The Actron works well, might be a bit hard to see in direct sunlight, just change the angle, the buttons feel good, not mushy, good response, I can't complain about the speed of the unit and the screen page changes. This is the only one I have extensive use with, I can't say if it is fast, slow, etc. The speed is adequate for me, personnally. If you own a few cars or deal with a few and some older that will then to exhibit issues with codes, I highly recommend owning an auto scanner, it will save a lot of time and frustration.
