Watch out to see that your dog's jaw doesn't get stuck in it!
Have used KONG products for years with no problem. We purchased a Puppy KONG for our new rescue. She was approx six months old when we gave it to her. Everything was fine for the first couple of times she played with it. We packed it with treats, and she would enjoy it for twenty to forty-five minutes. After about two weeks of having her, and a week after we first gave it to her, the KONG got stuck on her bottom jaw. It took 30 minutes of me chasing her around the house, calming her down, then cutting the KONG off since it wouldn't budge. I would be able to cut for 30 seconds, then she would run off scared out of her mind thinking I was trying to kill her. Not sure what I would have done if I didn't have really sharp, short curved hobby scissors. I couldn't tell if she was hurt as she was crying/screaming, I would approach her calmly, then I would be able to cut another half-inch of the KONG off. Thankfully I was able to get it off after multiple tries. She wasn't hurt, but she didn't trust me for a couple of weeks after this happened. Be careful that this isn't too large for your dog. Our girl is approx 35 lbs, but she does have a narrow face.
Also, be careful of any balls/toys that only have one hole. Dogs can get their tongue stuck in the ball, and it can create a suction effect that doesn't allow the dog to get their tongue out. KONG did have one product that caused this(a ball on a rope) called KONG Beast TUG-CHEW-FETCH that I no longer see on their website.
This review isn't to blame KONG for what happened. This is to warn others about the dangers of these types of toys. Please make sure your dog can NOT get their jaw into the KONG.
