Dr. Rush's warnings went unheeded, and today we have a medical police state, placing citizens in custody and forcing unwanted treatments upon them against their will; and preventing other citizens from seeking whatever treatment they want from whomever they choose; and incarcerating healers who don't have the government stamp of approval.
