I can't believe these cost $100, really can't....
First, let me tell you that I'm an headphones junky. I by no means consider myself an "audiophile", but I like to spoil my auditory cortex regularly :)
So why these are different? First, their bass is not overwhelming like other brands (Monster/Beats by Dre). Secondly, their lows and highs are much better than Klipsch R6i Black In-Ear Headphone with Patented Oval Tip (Black) , Bose SoundTrue In-Ear Headphones for iOS Models, Black, and even my gym headphones Monster iSport Victory Headphone
all of the above headphones are considered at the same price range, or even more expensive by a bit.
There is also a very important feature here that all other headphones missed in a great degree: mic noise cancellation. I was looking A LOT for good headphones with a mic that has noise cancellation like Apple's <not so good> headphones - and couldn't find any. Kliplsch 4i/5i/6Ri/X7i - all failed. The above Bose failed as well. Models in the $300 worked well, but it would be unfair to put these here due to the price range. Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear mic functions as needed, with a very good noise cancellation - it's still not perfect, but it's very close to Apple's headphones, which is enough for my daily usage.
Overall, very good and deep bass, not overwhelming but can suit most bass <non-audiophile> junkies, great highs and lows, mids can be comparable with other models, great design (metal), the remote is on the right side, just in the right height from the face (unlike Klipsch 6Ri, which is way too high and also noticeably heavier. Sennheiser's remote is just right). You also get an hard shall case, which can be practical for some people. I wish some company (Comply?) would come out with a foam eartips for these headphones. Currently, it looks like nothing really supports its shape.
To get the most out of these headphones, please play 320kbps/Flac soundtracks - you will get the most in terms of quality if you do so. Most streaming services like"Spotify" support 320kbps (just choose "high quality streaming" in the options of the program/app - but be carful, it would take more data if you do it over cellular network).
***UPDATE 4/5/2015 ***
Comply just released eartips for these. It's called comply t-150 and as far as I know it's available only on their website for now. It makes a HUGE difference, so I'll recommend putting another ~$16 for these.
