UPDATE: This is my second purchase buying the same four rugs from over 2 years ago. The rugs have been outstanding and lasted through daily vacuuming & cleanings thanks to our German Shedder. We’re only replacing due to the dog’s body oils and odors on the carpets. The color and quality was exactly the same as before and only took a few days to settle flat using a heavy box on top & reverse rolling. Last photo is the same dog but second rug. These are Great rugs that are very soft but durable. Very Happy both times with my purchases. See comments below for colors and suggestions. First of all, I agonized for months over these colors and styles. I went back and forth between the California & the Milan Shag but picked this rug style because I was able to get carpet samples. (See Below Photos) I finally ordered the Mushroom Color over the Taupe since it is a collage of several brown hues rather than one solid color. I needed something very durable being in a high traffic area near the garage door that wouldn't show dirt. Plus I had a dog. So far so good. The carpet arrived in a few days and laid flat overnight, had no smell, vacuumed easily with my Dyson, fluffed up nicely, and is perfect for my needs. Very thick and plush at almost 2” tall so it might not go under doors. Mine is at the bottom of the stairs. I would suggest a rug gripper rather than a pad since it is slippery on hardwood floors and may become a trip hazard if any taller. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and price for this rug especially since finding a 4'X4’ is near impossible. Roxie loves it and immediately claimed it as her new bed. I liked this color so much I am ordering four more of these identical rugs in different sizes for the house. Color Samples: Top: Beige: Mostly Cream/Beige. Light colored cream rug with contrasting beige colors. You really notice the beige/tan color in this rug. Top Left: Mushroom: Dark Smokey Brown/Taupe with different lighter/darker hues. Think Tree Bark/Forest. Earthy. Nice dimensional sheen. Middle: Taupe: Taupe/Light Taupe. Almost a solid colored rug. Overall, not much color contrast, very neutral lighter colored rug. Far Right: Brown. Exactly as shown. Chocolate Brown/Brown. Very rich, deep solid color. Little contrast. Think Chocolate Kisses. Bottom Left: Dark Gray: Gorgeous Dark Gray/Light Gray Color. Very Rich & Expensive Looking. Beautiful Blend. Wonderful Color! Bottom Center: Silver. Pale Silver/Light Gray/Black & White strands. Interesting & Odd Contrasting colors. Very Modern. Bottom Right: Navy. More Dark Blue/Light Blue Color. Modern. Perfect for Kids room or Rec Area. Very Colorful. I also put the browns all together for comparison all these difference colors. Last photo is the Beige and Mushroom. Colors are much darker and pronounced than shown due to camera flash especially the contrasting strands. Dark Gray is much darker than shown and was the most beautiful of samples. If this color works in your home décor, I would not hesitate to buy it.
