I have suffered since I was around fourteen, and I am sixty seven, with migraine, anxiety, allerfy and tension headaches at a rate of about 25 a month. I have been incapacitated by headaches and lost time from school, work and a few jobs because of headaches incapacitating me. I am sensitive to sound, touch and light when I have a migraine. I feel nauseated. I ache all over and I am in a tremendous amount of pain. Prescription medication doe s not alleviate migraines for me. It at times can exacerbate them. When ,u head is throbbing, it is hard to be a nice person. I started researching supplements. I found many expensive kinds of supplements that are an all-in-one cure all. I tried a couple but with no success. Then the light in the attic of my brain illuminated me to start more research. I painstakingly took tons of time to research supplements. Our Internet is an amazing wherehouse of information. I began to look for the ingredients in all of these all-in-one astronomically expensive supplements. Not one had enough of any of the supplements to work for me. However, I found that using some of the supplements in stronger miligrams were extremely effective. One big aspect to consider: that all of the individual supplements were less expensive than any of the all-in-one supplements. I discovered Butterbur all by itself is used exclusively for migraine headaches. I however also use Feverfew, Vitamin B2, Vitamin C. Turmeric Curcumin with Bioprene, Magnesium, Potassium, Devil's Claw and Cat's Claw as well. This combination taken three times a day has replaced my Topamax, Imitrex and Relpax as well as it works for my chronic pain. I now might have one or two headaches in a month. Botox did not even take care of my chronic migraines and anxiety headaches that had plagued me for years. I was desperate to see if there was a supplement that would work. I had to try one supplement at a time to see what it accomplished and then try combinations to find what worked for me. I actually can enjoy life again. God provided supplements for a reason and long before science and technology, supplements worked far better than prescription medication for many illnesses, disorders and medical conditions.
