I read a lot of the reviews posted for this scooter before taking the chance to buy it... Most of the negative reviews seemed like more user error than product fault. The unit was very easy to put together, it came mostly assembled. It handles well indoors and out. I haven't had a single issue with it. Some of the reviews claimed the wheels turned to far causing falls, my unit has a post and stoppers to prevent that. If anything i wished it turned a bit sharper. Another common complaint was that the wheels didn't hold up on cement or sidewalks, I haven't experienced this at all..'So far it has been great. I'm a very large guy, at 6'3" and nearly 300lbs and I'm happy with it. The knee pad isn't super comfortable, but kneeling for long periods on anything isn't very comfortable period. I considered sticking a piece of memory foam to the seat with velcro for extra padding, All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. My insurance wanted me to pay over $500 (half of the $1000) for a scooter from a durable medical supply, This one cost me 1/4 that.
