The first few times I tried to get this to stay it wouldn't. I do have a tile shower that isn't smooth. When choosing this item, I had looked at a similar one that came in a 2-pack and included 3M circular adhesive "mounting discs." I thought that this would as well, as I didn't read the information carefully. The first few tries I thought that it was going to be a failure and I found the mounting discs and had them in my Amazon cart to purchase. Thankfully, the last time I attempted installation has seemed to stick...it's been up for about a week now with just the suction cup. Overall, I recommend this product fully but I wish the mounting discs were included just in case it won't stay!
