Just one pulse chopped half an onion into say 4 if it were a lego pc. I was amazed! I tried some bacon that was Chrisp but that just made the container really greasy. I am really pleased because it sure saves time. You need to not put big pieces in there or it will not chop. they all need to lay below the blades. charges fast and easy to clean. It comes with a tiny cute metal spoon and a tiny brush to rake our ingredients! If you need something finely chopped then this is it. It is not for big meal prep. I made a cheese ball which called for onion. Next time I am going to try to chop some cheese and apple. This is not one of those that is dull and won’t cut. This one definitely does a good small job.
