Here's the deal, if I were you, I would buy the Vapur ELEMENT Bottle. I got the element about a year an a half ago and loved it so much that I wanted to get another one in a 1 liter size. After perusing Amazon, I discovered the Eclipse bottle and it wooed me with it's sexy navy matte finish. Alas that matte finish is the thing I hate most about it. Don't get me wrong it's a good bottle, it works fine no problems to speak of. I've been using it for 2 months or so. I just find this material much stiffer than the Element bottle, and, in my mind, more apt to cracking apart after being used/rolled/folded and packed repeatedly. The matte finish is harder for me to grip and wants to slide out of my hands. Also this bottle gives the water a very slightly off taste if you leave the water in it to long. With the Element bottle NEVER even a hint of taste or odor from day one onward.
