Delicious and Nutritious for You; DEADLY FOR RATS?!?
These taste good, but eating too many is actually dangerous, so CONTROL YOURSELF (angry face). This actually brings me to the main, perhaps surprising point of my review: I used these as environmentally conscious RAT POISON. Yeah, you read it right. Do a google search. Vitamin D is crucial for human health, but many other animals can't process it and it will cause internal bleeding and kill rats or mice. The charming but run-down 1920's building I live in has holes - in the attic, the crawlspace, the heating ducts. I tried several methods to trap them or exclude them, but without luck. City rats are smart to traps, and to peanut butter bait, so after some research, I settled on this. Before I even had a chance to bait traps with it, they got into my room and got into the box. So, I scattered some in the crawlspaces and closets. It disappeared over a period of days, and after a week, so did the rats. It's been several weeks with no new signs of them.
