Worked perfectly on a metal surface
The hangers were easy to install (just follow instructions exactly, including cleaning the surface with alcohol) and the whole contraption is holding very well on a smooth metal surface. I needed a hanger in a cubicle at work, and the cubicle walls are too low and thick for an over-the-top hanger. A side of a metal bookcase seemed just right. The hooks are holding a coat and a fairly heavy umbrella. A nice solution.
