I will start by saying this is my 5th kindle, so I’ve been using kindles for many years. I can honestly say this is now my favorite ever. I am including it next to my previous 2020 kindle and older ones prior to 2018 for comparison. You can see the larger screen size makes a big difference. THE GOOD: 1. Loving the larger screen. I never noticed much difference from my previous kindle editions before until this one. With more text fitting into the larger screen is great for larger fonts. 2. Faster page turns. This was something I noticed immediately after turning it on. The kindle just works faster on page turns and this makes a big difference for me. 3. The screen color. As you can see the color of the new kindle 11th generation seems less white. At first I thought I would not like this, but I find this color is easier on my eyes. 4. The automatic warmth color adjustment. I love this so much specially when I’m reading at night. 5. USB-C charging is fast. I can’t tell on the battery life yet but it charges a lot faster than my previous kindles. THE BAD: After owning 5 kindles I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about this new kindle. It’s not an iPad so for what it’s made for, it works beautifully. IS IT WORTH THE UPGRADE? I can personally say I do not regret buying this at all. I traded in one of my oldest kindle and got a great price on this one. If you have an older kindle, I don’t think you will regret upgrading, or buying it unless you prefer the smaller size. At this point my new kindle makes all my older kindles look a bit outdated.
