I was a little skeptical, but decided to try these. I've been waiting til the rains come to install all of them because ground has been so hard & a little difficult to install these without some digging. I think when ground is softer, it will be much easier for sure. So after a couple weeks of being in the ground, I did notice some frenzied movement of moles away from the area. We live near a golf course that has been gassing to remove moles, which was sending critters our way. I feel like this has created a decent barrier away from us. You can hear the sound slightly, but for us it's worth it to keep the critters away. I wasn't able to get the devices quite as deep as I'd like due to ground hardness, so perhaps noise will lessen some when I do that. I'll post again & update.
