This is a much better arrangement than subscribing to Curiosity Stream directly through Amazon. By subscribing to Curiosity Stream directly and installing the app from Amazon you are given the option of signing in to your account. In the end this will provide more options for viewing. A previous trial allowed me to see that the documentaries available through the app are less than what is available through Curiosity Stream. By visiting their website at curiositystream.com and subscribing directly you can add many films not offered directly through the app to your watchlist. This does not appear to be an option if you subscribe through Amazon. I tried this service several months ago and not having the option to add items to my watchlist directly from the Curiosity Stream website was a big minus for me. A little research provided me with the information that there are more films listed on the Amazon page for the app, but still far less than was available directly. The app itself was greatly improved from my previous installation. It is much more pleasing visually overall and the in app display and information for each film/series displayed are much easier to view. If you have a curious nature about science, civilization, nature and the general human equation, I highly recommend Curiosity Stream CuriosityStream (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick)
