I have Ulcerative Colitis and was having severe diarrhea and bleeding daily. All the prescribed medications weren't helping and I tried numerous probiotics which weren't working. My GI Dr wanted me to take Humira or another similar type of biologic medication that would wipe out my immune system which I refused. When I told him I was going to take Dr Axe probiotic instead and try dietary changes, he laughed and said it wouldn't help me. I started taking this probiotic and within one week my symptoms were 99% gone! It has been over a year now. Actually, it has been almost 2 years on this probiotic and I am symptom free except for occasional urgency. My GI Doc thought I had fired him when I didn't go back to see him for over a year. When I went back in, he was so surprised at my improvement. He then tried to "prescribe" me a probiotic that was going to have to be refrigerated and cost me over $800/month. I said why would I change and do that when this is working for me. All I can say is I will always keep this on hand and this will be part of my daily routine for the rest of my life! I cannot say enough about how this has changed my life.
