I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she wouldnt use it because she said it didn't fit right. She was right, it wouldn't get tight on her mixer because either the handle or the spout would hit the back of the mixer. If you look at the base of the mixer, there's 3 screws that hold on the socket thing that the bowls screw into - I had to remove these screws, and rotate the socket 1/3 of a rotation (1 screw-hole over), and put the screws back in to get the bowl to fit correctly. Now my wife loves her new glass bowl =)
