I cannot compare this to the “name brand”, but I can’t imagine spending more money on that one would be worth it, considering this is just a simple piece of plastic that elevates your legs for toileting. I must say, I love this thing as much as everyone else. Whether or not you suffer from bathroom issues, you will find that the feeling of going number two is much better with than without this product. This thing has helped alleviate some of my constupation issues. This is one of my favorite Amazon finds of 2018 and obviously the most used! ;) You won’t regret this purchase!
