One of my brows is higher than the other, and both are rather sparse towards the outer edge. I've been looking for something to help me even out my brows and make them appear more full while still looking natural and hair-like. I've tried fancy pomade with an expensive brush, various pencils, and other "marker" like products. This one is 100 times better than anything else I've used. You can make extremely thin lines by using a light hand, and the product is buildable. It's also very forgiving - you can easily wipe away mistakes. Brushing through with a spoolie afterwards also helps to soften the lines. Here are the steps I use. It took a few times to get the hang of it, so don’t worry if yours don’t come out perfectly the first time. 1) Rub concealer into the brows. Mine are very dark, and I find that they look way too dark and bold if I fill them in without this step. Don't worry if it looks weird at first, you'll end up brushing out a lot of the concealer by the end. 2) Use the pen to add some thin lines in the direction that your hairs naturally lay to set up the shape of your brows. Mine point downwards naturally. 3) Brush your brows up with a spoolie. 4) Using a light hand, add hairs following the upward direction to further fill out and even out your brows. The product is buildable, so I find that making the thinnest, lightest lines possible is best since you can add more later. 5) Dab a TINY bit of clear lash glue in any areas where your hairs tend to fall down throughout the day and brush in with a spoolie. 6) OPTIONAL: spray hairspray on a q-tip and gently dab the q-tip over the areas where you've added the most product. I haven't had issues with this product smearing, but hairspray has helped with that issue with other products in the past.
