Great BT Headphone. Has limitations, tho they CAN be overcome... If you're patient.
READ THIS REVIEW, in it's entirety. It will help.
Let me start by saying that after going through 3 different BT headphones, I researched BT headphones for 2 months before deciding on the JLab GO headphone... With that said...
My initial impression was less than excellent. The right ear bud was defective, HOWEVER, JLab customer service was AMAZING, and sent me a new pair under warranty, with NO ISSUES... Even sent me a new set BEFORE they received my defective set. LIKE WHOA!
5 Stars for JLab customer service. Special thanks to Brandon and Stephanie. (Shameless shout-out)
Now, sound quality between my car and my iPhone is exceptional. The only issue I have is when I'm on my bike. When my iPhone is in my pocket and I am pedaling the audio will cut out. But, if I have my phone in my backpack or in my arm-band, audio is perfect. Also, I'm by no means an "Audiophile", however, I LOVE great sound quality, and I know the differences between crap and quality. Call quality is on par with other BT devices that support this function. Normal quality.
Secondly, JLab needs to provide an assortment of ear-bud covers. The ear-bud covers that come with the unit are inefficient and produce a ton of wind noise at higher speeds... crap, even low speeds with strong headwind. I feel that with an ear-bud cover that enters deeper into the ear canal will reveal deeper, MUCH more prevalent Bass and increased sound quality in ANY situation. JLab is working on a solution, and will provide previously purchased headset users with an option to buy these bud covers at an extreme discount. This is from the "Horse's mouth."... CAN'T WAIT!
Thirdly, pairing is a breeze! I've owned 3 other BT headphones (Motorola, Sony and Beats) and they were much more complicated to pair with any BT enabled device, COMPARED to these headphones. Range is excellent. I can navigate most of my home (2300 Sq Ft, 2 level) with very little audio interruption or interference. Obviously, glass and metal doors seem to cause issues.
Fourth comment is about the battery and usability. Battery seems to be very good. Although I charge my unit daily, I also use my headphones more than most would use a set. I use mine at work and at home through out the day. The first 2 or 3 charges seemed to yield low levels of battery life which concerned me, but after cycling the battery between full charge and depletion, I've noticed huge gains in battery life. This is consistent with Lithium batteries. I get between 7 and 10 hours out of the battery through constant use. Case and point, I listened to my iPhone music library 3 days ago, uninterrupted for nearly 9 hours, and still had enough juice for the bike ride home (25 minutes avg). And the headphones never died or faltered. Who knows how long they might have gone.
My final issue comes when streaming a movie with OS X or Windows 7 (WMP or VLC Player). Audio is very low quality, and often static filled, or even inaudible. Unless stationary, the average user will be very disappointed with the quality, but the power user will be able to manipulate the streaming bit of the audio; being much easier on a Mac. Some movies or videos have different bit rates and will need to be manipulated, accordingly. But it really only takes 2 minutes to get perfect sound quality. However, this is a disadvantage for the average user. A simple Google search will yield a ton of great info. Hit me up if you can't find anything. I'd love to help, but I do not have the time to prepare a write up strictly for this review, on the matter.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the purchase. I find the headphones VERY comfortable, even forgetting that they're still on my head when the sound is off. I LOVE how they disclose information such as proper Burn-in procedures and proper cleaning and storage on their website and in the manual. Thus, I've purchased a second pair for myself and another pair as a gift for my little brother's birthday, STRICTLY based on this type of service and quality. They actually care! Odd right? The Beats product I purchased (SOLO $194) doesn't even compare (Price per advantage). Sure, better bass, but ACTUAL sound is on pair with the GO headphones. My opinion, and I've compared them SIDE by SIDE.
I've read many of the reviews for this headset before purchasing, during use and before posting this review. All I can say is that people need to do their research. Learn how to use the unit, and the device they're pairing it with and what settings will optimize their experience with the GO headphone. All I can say, is "User Error!"
I highly recommend the GO Headphone from JLab.
Please respond if you have issues with playback on OS X or PC and I can help.
I give 4 stars based on general use, but that subtraction of the 5th star is based on user-necessary manipulation.

P.s. JLab is DEFINITELY going in the right direction. Customer is always right. And I'm NOT affiliated with JLab. I am a grateful customer, and will return.
