Last year, 4 cats were abandoned in our culdesac. Nobody was feeding them. My husband and I could not see them go hungry, and since we have 3 large dogs, we were kinda clueless. I purchased Fancy Feast. They ate it up! (We have caught all 4 cats and took them to our TNR program ~ all 4 are fixed, have their shots and are doing great. Two of them stay outside in our yard full time. The other two come and say ‘hi’ every now and then ♥️) Just a few months ago...someone dumped a mama cat and her 4 kittens in our culdesac. She was so skinny and they were all so so scared and skiddish. We started feeding “our” cats in our backyard so The mom and her babies would feel more at ease. They have been eating this up and loving it! I have been trying to fatten them up and this is a food that I can afford. Again, I have three large dogs, two cats and two children of my own to feed. We have trapped them using this food and have gotten the kittens all fixed and their shots they the TNR program (we still need to catch the mom; she is pretty street smart). I will continue to purchase fancy feast because it is affordable and none goes to waste with any of the cats. •• but can we all spread the word and take the efforts to help control the stray cat population?? they deserve better from us. And I’m telling you ~ once they are fixed, every single one has become a loving cat that we can hold and pet and kiss ••
