We first ordered this for a Christmas present for our daughter. When it came in we tested it and it worked great so we went ahead and wrapped it. However, when she opened it on Christmas day it no longer worked. We put new batteries in it and it worked fine. The next morning, however, it once again wasn't working. So, again, we put in new batteries making sure the on/off switch was in the "off" position when we weren't using it but to my disappointment the next day it stopped working. I took the batteries out and put them in a battery-powered light that I knew worked and it wouldn't come on. So this toy was somehow draining the batteries over night. We messaged the seller and we were sent a new one right away and we were able to send back the defective one with no problems. We've had this replacement toy elephant for 3 months now and it still works perfectly and our 1 year old daughter loves it!
