I’m a fan of biological cleaners: including enzyme and bacterial types. I tested this in a 1/8 solution that was kept at an ambient 68 degree a Fahrenheit. On a stir plate, at roughly 400 rpm, the solution sat for 72 hours with 1/4 fluid ounce of hydrogenated plant fat floating on the surface. At the end of the 72 hour trial, the fat had almost been entirely broken apart by the cleaner. I believe that this actually would be great for treating pipes, septic, and so forth. This would also be great for any application that is needed to reduce grease, oil, or any other hydrophobic substance. As for the smell? Smells kind of like mint, no powerful fume smells in what I received. Im going to let my wife try running this through our steam cleaner and see how it fairs.
