Super fast - using this as my boot drive in OS X
I got a great deal on a new Retina iMac 27-inch during an easter sale. But unfortunately it came with the 1TB standard hard drive, which was super slow (100-130MB/second read time). To add an SSD on an iMac is crazy expensive with Apple.
I bought this drive, cloned my OS X internal drive to it (the 512GB model), and my computer now behaves like it has an SSD for a fraction of the price. It supports UASP, which was critical for me. We'll see how it lasts, but right now the difference this made in the computer as a boot drive means it no longer takes 20-seconds to open Lightroom, but instead 4-5 seconds (with a huge library of 90k photos).
According to disk speed test, I see right around 390mb/s write and 425mb/s read over USB 3.0.
