This was the bassinet I had originally placed on all of my baby registries after a friend who had had a c-section recommended it to me. Instead, I ended up getting a number of rock-n-plays (I think because they were cheaper & had more gadgets on them?). My son, however, didn't seem to care for all the gadgets anyway & preferred just being close to Mom & Dad so we ended up purchasing a second-hand Halo from someone on FB (who had also purchased it second-hand a year prior!). Right off the bat, the fact that it was in near perfect condition after being used by multiple families (one who'd had twins) thrilled me. The quality is so top-notch, there were no tears or rips in the mesh & everything still worked perfectly. Aside from that, it's incredibly lightweight & easy to assemble. And even though my mattress sits directly on the floor so the stand cannot fit under it, it has so much range that I can still manage to get my son close enough to me to soothe him if needed (plus he really likes when I just move him around on the swivel). All in all, it's one of my favorite baby items & I would've been completely willing to pay full price for it.
