A perfect place to start in the hobby!
This is a great quadcopter to learn on. I have attached a video for beginners with this review. I hope this helps anyone wanting to get into the hobby. It's a lot of stick movements to show you the right amount of input you should use to learn to hover. I have also included links to my full video review of the Holy Stone F181 and flight videos to show you how nice it can perform. I am an advanced flyer and still really enjoy flying this quad. So for advanced flyers this quad has a fairly slow yaw, so it's ability in the turns is not quick, but in high the pitch is decent and you can get this quad moving. It is also the coolest looking quad. The Cylon like body and head lamp are really awesome looking. This would look great in any collection. That being said about the somewhat slow yaw, I think this is a big plus for beginners. The yaw can really frustrate and confuse beginners trying to learn. So having a slower one is a good thing for learning. I highly recommend this quad for people wanting to get into the hobby, or wanting to learn before getting a high dollar multirotor for filming. This has a decent camera for a toy quad and you can practice getting shots very easily. It is a very stable quad, so learning the basics is nice and easy on the F181. Intermediates would love this quad too, you can strip it down (no prop guards, landing feet, or camera) and it will preform much better and you can learn to sport fly with it. So it doesn't get boring after you learn the basics. It actually becomes more fun, because it has 4 speed rates and it gets faster with each as you advance. Overall I really love this design and the flight characteristics this quad has. I would highly recommend it for beginners and intermediates. (...) (...) (...)
