Not qualified to opine as to the effectiveness of these masks, but here's what I can say: 1. Arrived promptly. 2. Well packaged, with each mask in a separate plastic sleeve. No funky odors 3. Masks are pretty comfortable. Much more comfortable than the last KN-95s I bought, which were basically ear torture devices. 4. Cut one open. Five layers (the two melt blown fabric layers are very close together and easy to count as one). 5. Not water permeable. 6. Seals well. Nose clip is metal and will hold a shape. 7. The clear areas make me a little nervous, but it's some sort of clear plastic and does not seem to leak water or air.
